Budget Blues. Budget woes hit with three out of four teams in desperate need of more funds to continue renovating. One couple try and change their kitchen layout at the eleventh hour.

Kitchen Week Begins. Kitchen week is always stressful and one couple starts without a builder. Even our experienced renovators start to crack under the pressure.

Main Bathroom Room Reveal. The teams are relieved to complete their main bathrooms and hand them over for judging. Tensions are high when Scotty reveals the scores and one team scores a perfect 30 out of 30.

Keith In The Middle. Bathrooms are progressing well and the competition is hotting up. All the teams have something special to impress the judges and one team is spending up big.

A Block Wedding & The Hotel Art Challenge. 2012 contestants Brad and Lara get married. Everyone enjoys a night off from renovating followed by a leisurely lunch with Scotty.

Pool Reveal. The communal pool area downstairs is finally finished and Scotty is impressed with the end result. Three teams feel disgruntled, and aren’t happy with one couple who have concentrated on their own apartment.

The Forgotten Pool. The contestants begin work on their main bathrooms and they also have the enormous task of completing the pool and common area downstairs. Each team is responsible for a job and time management is a challenge for some.

Bedroom Two Room Reveal. The contestants complete another bedroom and the faves discover they’ve got some strong competition. Steve and Chantelle’s risky parquetry wall surprises the judges.
