This is the element of MAFS that i do not like, scripted betrayals. Every year there is an affair and this year it’s Daniel and Carolina. Both seem like decent people but the producers of MAFS always seem to need that extra controversy to get their ratings up. It’s a shame it takes the gloss off the show. Carolina will be attacked in the media for her affair as she’s still married to Dion and that nice guy image of Daniel will also lose any creditability. I guess they’ll be compensated by the show with the extra $$$ in their… Read more »

I think the cheating factor will always be there in the real world and that is one of the reasons the producers play on that. They are constantly watching them and see how they are looking and speaking to to the other partners so they know the people who have the greatest potential for cheating. I think they also realized that Carolina has not been a nice person from day one! As soon as she didn’t see her ‘dream guy’ at the alter, she started looking around. When she saw how Daniel was being treated badly by his wife, she… Read more »

Which once again tells you the kind of people the producers want for the show and who they seek out. When MAFS first aired, it wasn’t as controversial and I liked it more due to its end goal of finding a partner. I just dislike all the bad blood after but I guess that’s just reality tv and why I don’t watch many of the other reality shows out there. People just looking for a name.

Daniel is kidding himself if he really thinks she’s the answer.

Mitch behaves like a ‘entitled’ child who wants the candy in the store but doesn’t want to pay for it. He said earlier that the expert did well to match him, but now he wants to take his prize and run and hide, claiming that he doesn’t trust the process. He doesn’t realize that the experiment is coming ‘full on’ with all the criticisms etc that he might have to face in the real world. He just doesn’t want to study for the exam but wants to pass it! SMH.

Yes, she’s a sweetheart and I truly believe she’s given it everything she’s got. That’s why she had such a hard time coming up with reasons why she was partly responsible for the problems they were having.. She really couldn’t think of any situation where she wasn’t trying her hardest. I think Mitch is ultimately going to let her down. He said he’s not an empathetic person, and Seline is obviously going to need affection and understanding, as most people do. He seemed so put off by her, but now he’s going to give it another try? I don’t buy… Read more »

I must admit I would have a hard time finding Dion attractive too. His outdated hairstyle, that hat, that jacket, and a personality that is a little materialistic and over the top. Not my cup of tea either, but that doesn’t excuse Caroline’s actions. She’s a snake of the highest order and to immediately zero in on Daniel, when she realized how unhappy he was, was sickening to watch. You could almost see the gears clicking in her brain as they talked. However, come to that, I don’t think Daniel is attractive either. That mustache is not at all flattering… Read more »

Mitch is, to borrow a phrase, a little bitch for complaining about cameras following him around.
YOU LITERALLY SIGNED UP FOR THE SHOW AND AGREED TO BE ON IT.
what did you think it was?

I also like how when these people sign up for the show they all say some version of “what I’ve been doing hasn’t worked, I need help,” then a week after they meet their new spouse they immediately disregard the experts, check out mentally and basically say “Nah, I’m doing it MY way.”
